This policy explains how PBG Global (“PBG Global”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit pbginternational.com (the “Website”), contact us or become a client.
01Who we are
For the personal information described in this policy, PBG Global is the data controller. You can reach us at:
02Information we collect
Information you give us
When you contact us, book a consultation or ask for a proposal, you may share your name, email address, phone number, company name and details about your business, residency and goals.
Client and due-diligence information
If you become a client, we collect what we need to deliver the services and meet our legal obligations. This can include identity documents, proof of address, date of birth, nationality, tax identification numbers, details of company ownership and control, source of funds or wealth, and banking and financial information.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Website, our servers record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device, the pages requested and the date and time of the request. We use these logs to operate and secure the Website.
Information from third parties
We may receive information from public company registers, sanctions and politically-exposed-person screening, identity verification providers, banks or professionals involved in your engagement, and people who refer you to us.
03How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- respond to your inquiries and arrange consultations;
- prepare proposals and deliver our services, such as forming entities, preparing filings and supporting bank, credit and residency applications;
- carry out identity verification, anti-money-laundering and sanctions checks;
- meet our legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations;
- operate, secure and improve the Website;
- send service-related messages and, where you have agreed or the law allows, occasional updates you can opt out of at any time.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing.
04Legal bases for processing
Where data-protection laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR apply, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Contract: to take steps you request before an engagement and to perform it.
- Legal obligation: for due-diligence, record-keeping, tax and similar requirements.
- Legitimate interests: to run and secure our business and the Website, respond to inquiries and establish or defend legal claims, always balanced against your rights.
- Consent: where we ask for it, for example for marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time.
06International transfers
Because we work with clients and partners in many countries, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including countries whose data-protection laws differ from those where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, or rely on the transfer being necessary to deliver the services you asked for.
07How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Inquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for a limited period and then deleted. Client and due-diligence records are kept for the length of the engagement and afterwards for as long as anti-money-laundering, tax and corporate record-keeping laws require, which is often five years or more after the relationship ends.
08Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls and limiting access to people who need it for their work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please don’t send identity documents or other sensitive information until we have agreed a secure way to receive them.
09Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- have inaccurate information corrected;
- have information deleted;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- receive your information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent where we rely on it;
- complain to your local data-protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@pbginternational.com. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will respond within the time limits the law sets. Some information, such as due-diligence records, may have to be kept even after a deletion request because the law requires it.
11Children
The Website and our services are intended for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed, and we will let clients know directly about material changes.
